It felt like a long time since I played my first round match but tonight I played the quarter final against Madeline Perry on the impresive glass court of Cayman Island. Unfortunately I was defeated in a tight 3/1 match. I came out strong, winning the first game 11/3, but lost the second, 8/11. I made too many errors at the start of the third and fourth games which I felt let me down in the long run. However, I felt like I was constantly putting pressure on Madeline and attacking the ball more than she was, but just couldn't put the ball away on the hot and bouncy courts. Although I lost, I feel like I can take some positives from the match.

At this point, I dont have any tournaments until the middle of July where I will play a run of major events, including the Malaysian, Singapore and Australian Opens. However, I will keep you posted if my schedule changes.
