Burning River - Rd 1

So I'm not sure how I managed it, but i somehow scraped a win today against Sarah Kippax of England. Wasn't feeling great on court and in the first couple of games was off the pace and hitting alot of frames. I went 0/2 down and was down 2/9 in the fourth game and had 3 match balls against me. somehow got back to win in a tie break in the 4th game and won the 5th 11/6. happy to get the win. I play raneem el weliely tomorrow from egypt who is in some good form so will be tough. xx

Ive arrived in Cleveland for the Burning River Open. Have another day of practice then am playing one of the qualifiers first round. Have been billeted by a lovely family and am looking forward to playing. xx

Greenwich - Quarter final

I lost the match tonight against Omneya in 4 games. She got a jump on me in the first and would not allow me to get into any kind of rhythm. I lost a tight 2nd game 11/9 then won the 3rd game and then got to 7 all in the final set before Omneya ran away with the match. I played quite well but jus wasn't my day. Next week I play the Burning River Open in Cleveland so it is back to training until then. xx

Greenwich Open

First round of Greenwich Open. I played Tania Bailey tonight, who I lost to last November at the US Open. This time I played really well to win 3-0. She is always a threat so I knew I had to keep my concentration. There was a little lapse in the 3rd game where I went down 6-2 but managed to get it back to win in straight sets. Tomorrow I play Omneya Abdul Kawi so I hope I can keep my form in the quarters. xx

One week out from Greenwich Open. Ive been training hard so am looking forward to the challenge. Have a tough draw playing Tania Bailey first round so we'll see how it goes. After Greenwich its on to Cleveland for the Burning River Open. Will keep up updated on my progress
